Entry Requirements
This is an open entry program of study with participants needing to read, write and communicate in English to a level to perform the job.

- Students must be over 18 years of age to conduct practical work placement.
- Students must obtain a volunteer Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) (commonly known as a police check) at their own expense. Please note, if there is a Disclosable Court Outcome on the record, we are unable to assist with placement, as industry partners require a clear record. In Victoria, this includes any offences by adults up to 10 years ago, and this requirement is non-negotiable.

Practical Placement
Practical placement of 120 hours is a mandatory requirement of this course. All Health Training will organise on our students behalf.
- The shifts that a placement provider will request students to work will vary.
- Some may have work during the day (e.g. 10am – 3pm for day and lifestyle programs), others may have morning and/or afternoon shifts (e.g. 6.30am – 9.30am & 3pm – 8pm for residential care).
- All providers request students to undertake placement in one block of time and as such, All Health Training suggests if you are already working you consider discussing and organising work and/or family care arrangements prior to undertaking practical placement to enable you to undertake these duties during the week.
- Practical placement will be commenced during the course and must be completed within 1 month after the course conclusion. Placement may not be available during the months of December & January due to restrictions with employers.
- Students will be required to wear an All Health Training polo shirt and name badge (both provided) on placement. In addition, long black pants & black closed in, non-slip shoes will be required which students will either need to provide or purchase at their own cost.
- Students may be asked to wear an N95 face mask or a surgical face mask whilst on placement
- Students may be asked for a negative Covid test prior to attending placement – this may be a RAT or PCR testing. This will depend on the host employer's policies and procedures, and will be communicated to each student as placement is coordinated.

Fees for 2026
From 2026, the Victorian State Government, through the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR), has significantly reduced training funding for many private Registered Training Organisations. As a result, government-funded places are not available at All Health Training, and enrolments are offered on a fee-for-service basis.
All Health Training remains committed to delivering high-quality, industry-aligned healthcare training and continues to invest in face-to-face delivery, practical learning environments, and experienced trainers.
