  • Additional job outcomes: Aged Care Worker, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Home Care Worker / Support Worker, Community Care Worker and Residential Support Worker

Enrol in CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)

  • Complete 13 extra units of competency /assessments
  • Attend 7 practical sessions (Arranged by AHT)
  • Gain 120 hours of placement experience (Arranged by AHT)
  • Additional job outcomes: Disability Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Residential Support Worker and Community Support Worker

Practical Sessions

 

Our hands-on Practical Sessions are designed to provide students with an interactive and supportive learning experience in a simulated work environment whilst undertaking our flexible learning program.

  • Duration: Each session runs for 4 hours, allowing ample time for skill development.
  • Small Group Learning: With a maximum of 6 students per session, you'll receive individualised guidance from our expert trainers.
  • Hands-On Training & Assessment: Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate skills, practise techniques, and complete assessments under the supervision of their trainer.
  • Location: Practical sessions are primarily held at our Blackburn campus, though additional locations, such as Narre Warren, may be available depending on student demand.

These sessions are an invaluable part of your training, ensuring you gain the confidence and competence needed for real-world application.
