Health Services Placement Partnerships

with All Health Training

AHT invites you to learn more about our practical placement program and how we can work together to ensure a highly skilled future workforce.

All Health Training is looking to gain practical placement partnerships for our students across our health services assistance qualifications.

We do not seek transactional approaches to placement, but instead, look to partner with quality providers whose values align with our own – that of providing a quality experience for our students, who may in turn end up as future employees of yours.

Who is All Health Training?

All Health Training is one of Melbourne's leading healthcare training providers with 3 modern and fully equipped training campuses across Melbourne, in Blackburn, Preston and Narre Warren.

We are a proud family-owned and operated business and have been operating for 14 years now.  Our vision is to provide high quality education and we only train in community/health related courses & workshops.

How we train.. we're not like the rest.

All Health Training predominantly train with face-to-face learning, as we believe this is how students learn best and engage with the learning program.  Students attend class 1 day per week for 6 months and are considered “placement ready” mid way through the course, when we feel they have had sufficient training.

We have invested heavily in our simulated learning rooms and no student enters a workplace without many hours in this environment, practising the key skills and role playing scenarios that they may encounter in the workplace.

Our classes are smaller. Unlike other providers, we know the challenges of the hospital sector at present and will run classes with 5 students who are keen to enter the industry, rather than wait for the larger class numbers we experienced pre-pandemic.

Smaller classes allows our trainer the opportunity to spend time with each student, encourage open communication and questions.  In addition, all our trainers work in the industry they are training, so their experiences weave into stories and scenarios for students to reflect on.

Below you can view short videos on All Health Training, our campus facilities and our offer of courses.

Benefits for a skilled workforce.✅

Together, AHT & your team can provide the right learning environment to get our students to where you want and need them to be.

Training and support of the overall industry goal of a skilled workforce, can be the edge and a real point of difference in the marketplace.

Placement ready students

All Health Training pride itself on students that have met the standards we believe industry are looking for in future employees.  If they do not meet the standards, we do not send them on placement, it is that simple.

All of our students have the following documents prior to attending placement, but if your request other documentation prior to placement we can organise that.

  • Evidence via my gov records of relative immunisations for industry e.g. flu and multiple others as required (See course details for a detailed list)
  • Evidence via my gov records of a minimum 3 doses of Covid-19 immunisation
  • Working with Children's Check card
  • Current police check – no less than 12 months old

Preferred placement facility types & buddies

Students are best placed in a public or private hospital setting, giving them exposure to working across different wards & work roles which is critical to the students development.

In addition, all students must be supervised during placement and allocated a buddy or mentor to work with them each day.  It can be different people in your organisation, but it is important that the buddy shares the value in having students on placement and wants to share their love for the industry.

One point of contact

All Health Training organise placement on our students behalf.  We have a dedicated placement coordinator in a full time role who supports our business, ensuring the processes for each company are followed.

This means you have one point of contact at AHT which makes it simpler and efficient for us to work together.

Placement hours

Students are required to undertake a minimum of 80 hours of placement in industry.

We advise our students they will work the day shifts only (7am to 3pm) giving them the best exposure to the industry & the role of a PSA.

Placement visits by All Health Training

All Health Training can send assessors during our students placement hours to complete an assessment in the workplace.  This is generally not more than 2 hours and can occur on 1 - 2 occasions.

Should facilities not wish for an assessor to visit, we can provide a Third Party Report which the student completes whilst on placement, reviews with their buddy or supervisor who must confirm the information, and then submitted to us.
