What is the 2024 Student Satisfaction Survey?
The 2024 Student Satisfaction Survey is derived from the 2024 RTO Performance Summary Report, conducted annually by the Victorian Skills Authority. This report provides an in-depth analysis of the results from both the Student Satisfaction Survey and the Employer Satisfaction Survey. Below, we present key performance measures that reflect our commitment to enhancing student experience and outcomes.
The survey breakdown
In 2024, more than 67,500 Victorian students across 264 Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) participated in the survey, with a state-level response rate of 43.8%. Out of these, approximately 39,000 respondents had completed their training (completers), while around 28,500 left training without completing (early leavers).
- A total of 412 students from All Health Training (22066) participated in the 2024 Student Satisfaction Survey, resulting in an impressive response rate of 54.40%.
- Of these respondents, 388 were completers, and only 24 were early leavers.

The Importance of Student Feedback in Healthcare Education
Student feedback is crucial for All Health Training and all Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). Here’s why:
-
Quality Improvement: Feedback helps us identify areas for enhancement in our training programs, materials, and teaching methods, ensuring we provide high-quality healthcare education.
-
Regulatory Compliance: As RTOs, we must meet strict quality standards set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). Student feedback demonstrates our commitment to these standards and helps address learner concerns.
-
Continuous Growth: We promote a culture of improvement, using student feedback to refine our training practices and resources, keeping our education relevant to industry advancements.
-
Personalised Learning: Every student has unique needs. Feedback allows us to tailor our training programs to meet the diverse requirements of our student body.
-
Trainer Assessment: Our trainers play a key role in developing future healthcare professionals. Student feedback provides insights into their effectiveness, helping us recognise strengths and identify areas for further development.
-
Regulatory Obligations: ASQA requires the collection and action upon student feedback as part of our compliance. Failing to do so can result in sanctions or loss of accreditation.
-
Industry Relevance: The healthcare field is constantly evolving. Student input helps us stay aligned with current industry needs, ensuring our courses meet the latest standards.
In summary, student feedback is foundational to healthcare education in Australia. It allows us to maintain quality, meet regulatory criteria, and continually enhance our training programmes, ultimately producing competent and job-ready graduates who significantly contribute to the healthcare community. Together, we shape the future of healthcare professionals.
